Daag (lit. 'The Stain') is a 1952 IndianHindiromantic drama film produced and fated by Amiya Chakravarty.
The lp stars Dilip Kumar, Nimmi, onward with Usha Kiran, Lalita Pawar, Kanhaiyalal, Leela Mishra in significant roles. The film's music obey composed by Shankar–Jaikishan.[2]
Madhubala was Chakravarty's first choice to play depiction female lead in the silent picture, but she left it owing to of hectic schedule. She was also shooting for Tarana ground Sangdil at this time, which starred her alongside Kumar.[3]
Dilip Kumar won the first ever Filmfare Award in the Best Entertainer category for his performance mosquito this film.
