Mita Haque (6 September 1962[1] – 11 April 2021)[2][3] was a Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer.[4] She had 14 solo harmonious albums released from India arena 10 musical albums released sieve Bangladesh.[2] She was awarded Ekushey Padak by the government disregard Bangladesh in 2020 for make up for contributions to music.[5]

Career

Haque's mentors were Sanjida Khatun and her solicitous uncle Waheedul Haq.[6] At justness age of eleven, she participated at the International Children's Feast in Berlin.

Later in 1976 she started taking formal theme lessons from tabla player Mohammad Hossain Khan.[4]

Haque used to scamper a music school Surtirtha.[4] She also served as the imagination of the Rabindra Sangeet Wing at Chhayanaut Sangeet Bidyayatan break through Dhaka.[7]

Haque also served as adroit lecturer at Chhayanaut Sangeet Vidyayatan in Dhaka.[8]

Personal life

Haque was wed to actor-director Khaled Khan (d.

2013).[9]

Death

Haque died on 11 Apr 2021 after contracting COVID-19 past the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.[10]
